[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 8일~9일, 의정부시 송산3동은 행정복지센터 앞 용민로 일대에 배치된 가로화분에 국화를 식재하는 꽃길 가꾸기 행사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사는 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 참여자 전원 마스크 착용, 손 소독 및 일정거리 유지 등 안전관리에 최선을 다하였으며, 통장협의회와 공무원이 참여하여 행정복지센터 청사 인근에 배치된 가로화분에 약 620여 본을 식재했고, 주민들이 힘을 모아 꽃길을 조성함으로써 위축된 지역사회 분위기에 활기를 불어 넣었다고 했다.

민형식 송산권역 국장은 “이번에 조성한 국화 꽃길을 통해 송산3동 주민뿐 아니라 추석 연휴, 가족들과 함께 가까이에서 가을의 정취를 느끼는 연휴가 되길 바란다.”고 밝혔다.
