동두천시 배드민턴협회는 지난 12일부터 사회적 거리두기가 종료되는 오는 8월 8일까지 배드민턴구장을 자체 휴관하기로 결정했으며 탁구협회 역시 시 민방위대피소인 지하건물에 위치에 감염위험이 높아 시의 운영중단 결정에 적극 동참키로 했고, 파크골프협회는 지난 27일 시체육회에서 임원진과 회의를 열고 7월 28일부터 오는 8월 8일까지 잠정 운영중단에 들어갔다고 말했다.
