경기도인재개발원 대강당에서 열린 이 날 본선에서는 도내 시군에서 추천한 78건의 제안 가운데 1차 실무심사와 2차 전문가 심사를 거쳐 채택된 6개 제안(일반인 3건, 공무원 3건)에 대한 PT발표를 진행해 최종 순위를 결정했다고 했다.

공무원 부문 심사 결과 1등에는 양주시의 ‘준등기 우편 이용 장려를 통한 행정 우편 예산 절감 및 업무 효율화’가 선정됐으며 김포시 ‘폐보도블럭, 화단으로 꽃피우다’가 2등을, 화성시 ‘IOT 결합 스마트폴 설치 및 확대 제안’이 3등으로 수상했다고 했다.

이번 대회에서 1등을 거머쥔 양주시 박민주 주무관의 제안인 ‘준등기 우편 이용 장려를 통한 행정 우편 예산 절감 및 업무 효율화’는 비대면 방식의 등기 송달 서비스인 준등기 우편을 행정 우편물 발송 시 적용해 등기반송우편물로 인해 발생되는 행정력 낭비 예방과 등기·반송요금에 대한 예산 절감 등 일거양득 효과가 기대된다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다고 했다.
