[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 8일 동두천시 중앙동 행정복지센터는 내부사례회의를 개최하여, 위기가구 발굴에 따른 지원 결정과 검토사항을 논의했다고 밝혔다.  

이날 회의에서는 만 95세의 고령의 독거노인이지만, 복지지원에서 누락되어 혜택을 받지 못하는 가구를 비롯하여, 장기요양등급 대상자로 선정되어 일상생활 유지가 가능해진 가구까지, 단계별로 가구별 지원방향을 회의를 통해 점검했다고 말했다.  

이춘우 동장은 “주변에 어려운 이웃이 있음에도 불구하고, 고령의 독거 어르신들은 복지정보에 밝지 않아, 혜택을 받지 못하는 경우가 종종 있다. 코로나19라는 제한적인 조건이지만, 적극적으로 다양한 복지제도를 홍보하여, 지원에서 누락되는 주민이 없도록 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
