[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 6월 1일 의정부시 안병용 시장은 학대위기아동 조기 발굴과 신고자 부담 완화를 위해 아동학대 신고상담 Hotline을 개설할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 

의정부 아동학대 신고상담 Hotline은 아동학대상담을 위한 전용 유선전화와 카카오톡 채널로, 신고자가 언제 어디서든 쉽게 신고번호를 기억할 수 있도록 범죄신고번호‘112’와 비슷한 031-8282-112로 개설된 것이 특징이라고 했고, 아동학대신고는 2000년부터 복지부가 개설한 특수회선으로 운영되다가 2014년 9월부터는 경찰범죄 신고번호인‘112’로 통합하여 운영 중이라고 말했다.

안병용 의정부시장은  "24시간 아동학대 신고체계가 구축된 만큼 아이들이 안전하고 행복한 의정부가 될 수 있도록 시민 여러분들의 따뜻한 관심과 적극적인 참여를 부탁드린다”고 당부했다.

긴급신고상담 Hotline은 오는 6월 1일 개설하여 한 달간 시범운영을 거친 후 7월부터 본격 운영될 예정이라고 했다.
