[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 5월 21일(금) 경기도의회 교육기획위원회 정윤경 위원장은 경기도의회 제1정담회실에서 '경기도교육청 학교 스마트체육 지원 조례' 제정 공청회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이 자리는 온·오프라인 플랫폼을 활용하여 시·공간의 제한을 받지 않고 환경변화에 대응하는 체육교육 환경 조성을 통해 스포츠와 정보통신기술 ICT를 활용한 스마트체육 환경을 구축하여 원격 교육환경에서는 집합체육 수업이 원활하게 운영되지 못하고 있는 문제를 해소하려는 것으로, '경기도교육청 학교 스마트체육 지원 조례' 제정 과정에서 관계자들의 의견을 듣고 조례에 반영하려는 소통의 장으로 마련한 것이라고 말했다.

정윤경 위원장은 “코로나19 감염병의 지속으로 교육현장에서 원격 수업과 등교 수업이 병행하는 혼합 형태의 수업이 진행되고 있고, 앞으로도 미세먼지와 신종 감염병의 출현과 확산이 지속적으로 발생할 것으로 예상되는 만큼 새로운 형태의 체육 수업 환경 변화에 대응하는 제도적 근거를 마련하고자 조례를 제정하게 되었다” 고 밝히며, “지금 이 순간에도 학교 현장에서 고생하시는 선생님들의 노고에 고마움 마음”을 전했다.

공청회는 개별토론으로 진행되었으며, 중원대학교 산학협력단 최상범 교수, 경기도교육연구원 임선일 교수, 경기도 이동중학교 서광석 선생님, 경기도 신장고등학교 김종석 선생님, 경기도교육청 학생건강과 관계 공무원 등이 참석하여 다양한 의견과 학교 현장에서의 스마트체육교육에 대한 필요성, 경기도와 시·군, 대학, 연구소 등 유관기관 및 관련 단체와 협력의 필요성 등의 의견을 제시하였다고 했다.

정윤경 위원장은 “이번 공청회를 통해 제시된 다양한 의견들을 수렴하여 학교 스마트체육 지원 조례의 바람직한 제정 방향과 구체적인 대안에 반영될 수 있도록 적극 노력 하겠다”고 말하며, “본 조례 대표발의 의원으로서 더욱 내실화된 조례가 제정될 수 있도록 최선을 다 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
