양주시는 오는 24일부터 3주간 매주 백신이 배송됨에 따라 다음 달 12일까지 미접종자에 대한 1차 접종을 실시하고 7월 초까지 75세 이상 어르신들에 대한 접종을 모두 완료할 계획이라고 전했다.

접종대상자는 개인별 예약일자에 신분증을 가지고 경기섬유종합지원센터 내 설치된 코로나19 예방접종센터에 방문하면 되고, 기타 자세한 사항은 양주시 예방접종 콜센터로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다고 했다.

양주시 관계자는 “정부의 화이자 백신 추가 배정 계획이 확정됨에 따라 접종을 재개하며 코로나19 이전의 일상 회복에 다가서게 됐다”며 “감염병 종식을 위한 집단면역을 앞당길 수 있도록 어르신들의 적극적인 접종을 당부드린다”고 말했다.
