[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군 보건소는 산부인과의 지리적 접근성이 낮은 문제를 해소하기 위해 지난 19일부터 ‘찾아가는 건강지킴이 아가맘 홈케어’사업을 운영하고 있다고 22일 밝혔다.

아가맘 홈케어는 출산 전․후 산모와 아기의 수요에 맞는 모유관리, 아기의 성장․발달 평가, 단유 및 이유식 상담 등 필요한 서비스를 총 4회에 걸쳐 회당 1시간씩 무료로 받을 수 있다.

사전 참가자들을 대상으로 전문 의료인(간호사)이 각 가정을 방문하게 된다. 현재 5명의 산모가 산후조리와 신생아 및 영아의 건강 상담 등을 제공받고 있다.

참가는 보건소 방문 신청으로 이루어지고 있으며, 대상은 관내 임신 32주~출산 1년 이내의 산모와 영아다.

이와 함께 가평군은 시기별 영유아 및 산모 맞춤형 건강서비스 제공을 위해 가임기, 임신기, 산욕기, 영․유아기(양육기) 등으로 나눠 안전하고 건강한 임신환경 조성, 안전한 분만을 위한 신체적 정신적 준비, 모유수유 및 산모․아기 감염 예방, 건강한 발달성장 지원 등을 돕고 있다.

앞서 가평군은 지난해 5월 관내 하나밖에 없었던 소아청소년과 폐업으로 인한 주민불편 해소를 위해 소아관련 전문성을 갖춘 공중보건의사를 보건소에 배치해 소아진료, 예방접종, 건강검진 등 다양한 소아진료 서비스도 함께 제공하고 있다.

소아과 진료는 월요일부터 금요일까지 오전에 실시되고 영유아 건강검진은 예약제로 화요일과 목요일 오후에만 이루어진다.

가평군 관계자는 “산부인과와 산후조리원이 없어 불편한 산모들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “신생아 돌보는데 어려움이 있거나 모유관리, 단유 등으로 고민이 있는 산모들은 신청해 달라”고 말했다.
