[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 오는 27일 날 개최되는 제30회 태백산 눈축제는 대형 눈 조각 전시와 각종 체험 프로그램과 함께 태백을 찾아오는 관광객들의 눈과 귀를 즐겁게 하는 다채로운 공연프로그램도 준비되어 있다고 밝혔다. 

28일부터는 눈축제의 주요 행사장인 당골광장에서 공연프로그램이 오후 1시부터 진행되는데, 이곳에서는 개막식에서 진행되었던 마스코트 캐릭터들의 캐릭터 댄스를 다시 만나볼 수 있다. 이후 어쿠스틱, 힙합, 치어리딩, 밴드공연 등 다양한 장르로 구성된 지역공연팀의 공연이 축제기간 동안 진행되어 겨울 축제를 찾아온 관광객들의 흥을 한껏 돋울 예정이다. 

한편, 지역예술팀의 공연은 당골광장 뿐만 아니라 황지연못 특설무대에서 축제기간 내내 오후 7시부터 8시까지 진행되는 야간 공연으로 한번 더 진행될 예정이다.

다만, 29일 일요일은 태백산 눈꽃 전국등반대회 행사가 낮 시간 동안 당골광장 무대에서 진행되어 공연프로그램이 진행되지 않기 때문에 행사장 방문에 앞서 주의가 필요하다고 전했다.
