[김택곤 기자=영월군] 영월군은 1월 9일 군청 대회의실에서 부서장, 읍면장, 팀장 및 실무자가 참여한 가운데 강원남부 거점도시, 살기좋은 미래영월의 100년을 준비하는 ‘2023년 핵심업무 보고회’를 개최했다.

금번 보고회는 영월의 새로운 도약을 이끌 12대 분야 123개 혁신시책 추진에 중점을 두고 진행한다. 

주요내용으로는 동서고속도로 건설, EMU-150 조기도입, 경제·일자리 활성화, 지역소멸 위기 대응, 봉래산 명소화 사업, 동서강 수월래 사업, 의료중심도시 조성, 공공산후조리원 건립 및 출산종합지원센터 운영, 청년 정착 환경 조성, 잘사는 농업농촌 등이다.

최명서 영월군수는 “민선8기 실질적인 원년인 올해는 공약사항을 비롯하여 지역현안사업 추진을 위한 재정 확보와 정부 및 유관기관 협의 등도 순조롭게 진행되고 있으며, 법정문화도시 지정, 대규모 공모사업 선정, 봉래산 명소화사업 지역개발계획 반영 등을 통해 추진역량을 확보하였으므로, 실질적으로 도약하는 군정을 보여주겠다.”고 밝혔다.
