[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 오는 27일 오후 7시 문화예술회관 대공연장에서 ‘끝의 시작’이라는 주제로 이국종 의학박사를 초청해 2022년 제3회 태백시민 아카데미를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

강연을 맡은 이국종 의학박사는 소말리아 해적에 피랍되었다가 구출돼 한 때 생사를 넘나들던 석해균 선장의 소생치료와 북한 귀순 병사 수술 등으로 잘 알려진 우리나라 중증 외상치료의 최고 권위자이다.

아카데미에는 태백시민이라면 누구나 무료로 참여할 수 있으며, 자세한 사항은 태백시 평생학습관으로 문의하면 된다.
