[김준호 기자 = 영월군] 영월군 무릉도원면 운학1리, 일명 삼돌이마을 소온뜨개방은 농어촌희망재단의 교육·문화·복지 지원사업의 도움을 받아 매주 화요일 진행되는 뜨개 교실을 통해 농촌 주민 간 교류 활성화와 공동체 의식을 높이는 한편 재능을 지역사회에 환원하는 나눔 활동을 하고 있다.

올해는 우크라이나 전쟁으로 고통받는 아이들과 여성들을 위해 회원들이 십시일반 뜨개실을 사서 약 두달간 제작했다. 특히 마을의 아이들이 우크라이나 아이들을 위해 직접 쓴 손편지를 함께 써서 보냈다.

소온뜨개방 매년 목도리, 모자, 수세미 등을 제작해 지역 독거노인, 복지기관 등에 기부를 해오고 있다

삼돌이마을이란? 박힌 돌(원주민), 굴러온 돌(귀농귀촌인), 굴러올 돌(예비 귀농귀촌인)을 지칭하는 말로 누구하나 소외됨 없이 모두가 함께 행복하게 살자는 의미로 농촌 마을의 새로운 공동체 문화를 이끌어 가고 있다.

Yeongwol-gun delivered knitting scarves and handwritten letters from Samdori Village club members to Ukraine

[Reporter Kim Jun-ho = Yeongwol-gun] Unhak 1-ri, Mureungdowon-myeon, Yeongwol-gun, aka Samdoli Village Soon Knitting Room, with the help of the Education, Culture, and Welfare Support Project of the Rural Hope Foundation, promotes exchanges and community among rural residents through knitting classes held every Tuesday. While raising awareness, we are carrying out sharing activities to return our talents to the local community.

This year, for children and women suffering from the Ukrainian war, members bought ten o'clock knitting yarn and made it for about two months. In particular, the village children wrote and sent handwritten letters for Ukrainian children.

Soon Knitting Room produces scarves, hats, and scrubbers every year and donates them to local seniors living alone and welfare institutions.

What is Samdori Village? It refers to a stone studded (indigenous people), a stone rolled in (indigenous villagers), and a stone to roll in (preliminary returnees). .
