[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4월 19일, 의정부시 녹양동지역사회보장협의체는 봄을 맞이해 정성 가득한 수제 불고기를 복지사각지대 20가구에 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

4월 내에 총 3차례 60가구에 봄맞이 해피박스를 나누며 따뜻한 마음을 전달할 예정이며, 지난 4월 13일에도 녹양동지역사회보장협의체는 수제 고추장을 차상위계층 노인 등 복지사각지대에 있는 가구에 직접 전달해 훈훈함을 자아냈다고 했다.

이와 같이 녹양동지역사회보장협의체는 복지사각지대 발굴뿐만 아니라 먹거리 전달을 통한 안부 확인 등 해피박스 전달을 통해 복지사각지대 위험을 예방하고자 많은 관심을 기울이고 있다고 전했다.

김충식 녹양동지역사회보장협의체 위원장은 “관내 독거노인, 한부모가정 등 취약가구에 수제고추장, 불고기를 직접 전달해 어려운 이웃들에게 도움이 되길 바라며, 요즘과 같이 어려운 시기에 복지사각지대에 있는 이웃들에 대한 주변의 관심이 더욱더 필요하고 작은 정성이지만 따듯한 마음을 전하게 되어 기쁘다”며 “일주일 뒤에 있을 열무김치 전달에도 많은 위원들이 참여해 봄기운처럼 따뜻한 녹양동이 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
