[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 8일, 캠코는 지난 4월 7일 스위스그랜드호텔에서 개최된 '2022 국가산업대상' 시상식에서 4년 연속 ‘경영혁신’ 부문 대상을 수상했다고 밝혔다. 

‘국가산업대상’은 지난 2018년부터 산업통상자원부·중소벤처기업부가 후원하고, 산업정책연구원이 국내 산업발전에 크게 기여한 기관과 기업을 심사·선정하여 발표한다고 했다. 

캠코는 코로나19發 위기상황 속에서 가계·기업·공공 全 사업부문의 역량을 집중하여 ‘국민에 안정을, 기업에 활력을, 국가자산에 가치를 더하는 리딩 플랫폼’ 역할을 충실히 수행한 성과를 높게 인정받았고, 코로나19 발생 이후 캠코는 소상공인과 자영업자 등의 가계부담 경감을 위해 7.6만명에 총 7,646억원 규모의 채무원금·이자 감면, 상환유예와 생활대출을 지원하고 있다고 전했다.

특히, 경제위기 상황에서 금융지원에 소외된 회생기업을 대상으로 유관기관과 협업하여 ‘패키지형 회생기업 금융지원 프로그램’을 마련하고, 지금까지 83개 기업에 735억원 규모의 신규자금을 대여함으로써 회생기업의 재도약을 돕고 있으며, 아울러, 공공부문에서도 캠코는 정부청사와 생활 SOC 시설을 복합개발하는 등 혁신적 개발·관리를 주도하여 국민편익을 제고했고, 또한 제로에너지빌딩 사업 및 노후건축물의 그린 리모델링 추진을 통해 저탄소·친환경 정책에도 기여하고 있다고 했다. 

마지막으로 캠코는 캠코型 ESG 가이드라인을 도입하고, 오는 2023년까지 총 3조원 규모의 ESG 채권을 발행할 계획이며, 발행한 채권은 코로나19 피해업종 금융지원과 국·공유지를 활용한 제로에너지·스마트청사 건립 등의 사업에 쓰인다고 전했다.  

권남주 캠코 사장은 “창립 60주년을 맞이한 올해 국가산업대상을 4년 연속수상하게 되어 더욱 뜻 깊다”고 밝히며, “앞으로도 캠코는 ‘소통에 기반한 경영혁신’을 지속 추진하여 공공서비스를 선도하는 리딩 플랫폼으로 거듭 날 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
