[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 4월 7일 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 경기도 파주시 소재 노후 국유건물 해체공사 현장에서 홍영 캠코 국유재산본부장이 시공사 등 현장 관계자들과 함께 특별 안전점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 안전점검은 건물 해체 시 발생할 수 있는 건물 붕괴 등 안전사고에서 현장 근로자를 보호하고, ‘안전 최우선’을 원칙으로 하는 캠코의 안전 문화 확산을 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

이날 홍영 캠코 국유재산본부장은, 해체공사 착수前 분진망 설치, 가설구조물 안전조치, 보호구 착용 등 핵심 안전조치 준수여부를 점검했으며, 또한 신호수 등 안전관리자 배치, 해체장비 상태 등 해체작업 시 주의해야할 항목들을 면밀히 점검했다고 말했다.

특히, 해체공사 현장은 초등학교 인근에 위치하고 있으며, 따라서 홍 본부장은 현장 관계자들을 대상으로 주변 통행자의 공사장 접근 방지 시설 강화와 공사 차량의 안전운행 등을 추가로 주문하는 등 안전사고 예방을 강조했다고 했다.
