[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 4월, 의정부시 미술도서관은 도서관주간을 맞아 미술을 주제로 한 작가 초청 강연회, 백드롭페인팅 원데이클래스, 미술도서관 투어 프로그램을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

지난 1964년에 시작되어 올해로 58주년을 맞은 도서관주간(한국도서관협회 주최, 문화체육관광부 후원)은 매년 4월 12일부터 4월 18일까지 일주일 동안 시민들의 도서관 이용과 독서 활성화를 위해 전국의 도서관에서 개최된다고 전했다.

의정부미술도서관에서는 도서 1일 1미술 1교양의 저자 서정욱 작가의 금요일에 만나는 서양 미술사 강연회를 진행하며, 고대미술부터 현대미술까지 현대 미술사의 흐름을 4회에 걸쳐서 배워보며 금요일 밤을 채울 예정이고, 또한 초보자도 쉽게 체험할 수 있는 ‘나만의 공간을 채우는 백드롭페인팅 인테리어 소품 만들기 원데이클래스’를 진행해 질감 표현과 색감으로 완성되는 추상화 작업에 대해 이해하는 시간을 가질 예정이라고 했다.

미술도서관 투어 프로그램은 연령별로 나뉘어 진행할 예정이며, 성인, 청소년 대상 투어 프로그램인 ‘물감으로 섞이는 미술도서관’, 어린이 대상 투어 프로그램인 ‘단어로 연결되는 미술도서관’으로 진행하고, 투어 프로그램은 도서관 소개와 오픈스튜디오 작가의 아트클래스로 진행되며 다양한 문화예술 체험 기회를 제공하며, 미술도서관은 도서관주간을 맞이해 준비한 다채로운 행사로 많은 시민들이 일상 속의 문화생활을 누리는 시간을 보내길 바란다고 밝혔다.
