[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 11일 오후 김부겸 국무총리는 울진․삼척․강릉․동해 산불 피해 현장을 방문하여 이재민들을 위로하고, 산불 진화에 힘쓴 특수진화대 등 관계자들을 격려하며, 신속한 피해 복구와 지원을 당부했다.

경상북도지사, 행정안전부 재난안전관리본부장, 소방청장, 국토부 주택도시실장, 동부지방 산림청장, 강원도 경제부지사, 동해시장, 삼척시장, 울진군수, 강릉시 부시장 등 참석했다고 전했다

김 총리는 우선 “산불 진화와 이재민 지원에 혼신을 다한 특수진화대와 소방관, 군․경 지원 인력, 공무원 그리고 자원봉사자들에게 감사드린다”며 그들의 노고를 치하했다.

또한, “이재민들이 지내시는 데 불편함이 없도록 필요하신 것들을 세심하게 챙겨드릴 것”을 지자체 관계자 등에게 당부했다.

한편, 김 총리는 이번 산불로 피해를 입은 삼척시 소재 군부대도 방문하여 피해상황을 살피고, 화재 대응에 최선을 다한 군 관계자들을 격려했다고 했다.
