[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 원주지방환경청은 정부조직법 개편(2022.1.1.)으로 원주국토청 하천관리 업무가 원주환경청으로 이관됨에 따라 「원주지방환경청 기술자문위원회 운영규정」을 제정(2022.1.28.)하고 지난 3월 2일 기술자문위원회를 구성했다고 밝혔다.

자문위원은 원주지방환경청에서 시행하는 설계·시공 등에 대하여 자문 및 심의에 대응가능하도록 수자원·환경 등 18개 분야 153명을 선정·위촉하고 원주지방환경청 누리집에 공개했다고 했다.

위원 선정 시 전문성 확보를 위해 자격증, 최종학력, 근무경력, 저서·논문, 접근성 등을 종합적으로 고려했고, 선정된 위원들은 건설공사 설계자문*, 경관심의, 건설사업관리계획 심의** 등을 수행하며 임기는 2년(‘22.3.7.~’24.2.29.)이라고 했다. 

* 추정공사비 100억원 이상인 건설공사의 자문(착수·중간·마무리단계)

** 총공사비가 100억원 이상인 건설공사 중 구조물이 포함된 공사 또는 부실시공 및 안전사고의 예방을 위해 심의가 필요하다고 인정하는 건설공사

원주지방환경청 김강식 하천계획과장은 “기술자문위원회 운영을 통해 관내 국가하천*이 명품하천으로 조성될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

* 한강, 북한강, 양구서천, 소양강, 섬강, 달천, 평창강, 홍천강, 원주천 등
