[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월, 의정부시는 의정부시 체육회·장애인체육회 소속 생활체육지도자 8명 전원의 정규직 전환을 최종 결정했다고 밝혔다.

의정부시는 고용노동부 공공부문 비정규직 근로자 정규직 전환 가이드라인, 민간위탁 정책 추진 방향에 의거 의정부시 생활체육지도자, 장애인생활체육지도자 차별 없는 정규직 전환을 위해 지난 2021년부터 수 차례 실무협의를 통해 정규직 전환에 대해 논의해 왔으며, 지난달 1월에 정규직 전환 심의 위원회 의결을 통해 생활체육지도자와 장애인생활체육지도자 전원이 정규직으로 전환되었다고 했다.

이로써 의정부시체육회 소속 생활체육지도자 6명과 의정부시장애인체육회 소속 장애인생활체육지도자 2명 모두 올해 1월 1일부터 정규직 신분으로 계약 체결해 근무하며, 이번 생활체육지도자 및 장애인생활체육지도자 정규직 전환을 통해 지도자들의 고용안정과 더불어 의정부시민을 위해 보다 더 나은 양질의 생활체육서비스가 제공될 것으로 기대된다고 했다.
