[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 8일 원주시 그림책센터는 KBBY 국제아동청소년도서협의회 한국지부 및 그림책협회와 그림책 발전을 위한 업무 협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

‘IBBY HONOUR LIST 2020’ 국제 아동청소년도서 기획전시가 열리고 있는 원주복합문화교육센터에서 체결된 이번 협약식에서는 3개 기관이 그림책 문화 생태계 조성을 위한 연대를 약속하고, 그림책 장르 발전을 위한 연구·전시·기획 등 다양한 사업을 공동 진행하기로 협약했다고 전했다.

이번 ‘IBBY HONOUR LIST 2020’ 기획전시는 ‘지속가능한 세계, 오늘의 그림책’이라는 주제로 지난 2월 8일부터 오는 3월 4일까지 원주복합문화교육센터 ACP에서 열리며, 60개 국가에서 추천한 48개 언어의 179종 실물 도서를 통해 세계 여러 나라의 문화를 접할 수 있다고 했다.

이상희 센터장은 “유네스코와 연대 협력하고 있는 IBBY의 HONOUR LIST 전시가 열리는 당일, 한국의 그림책 문화 생태계를 대표하는 세 단체가 협약을 맺게 돼 기쁘다.”라고 말했다.
