이번 프로그램은 기획전 관람객들이 장욱진의 차녀 장희순이 들려주는 이야기를 통해 자연과 함께한 생태화가 장욱진 작가의 삶과 예술세계를 공감하고 전시기획 의도를 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련했으며, 미술관은 새, 해, 나무, 산 등 장욱진 작가의 작품요소를 접목해 실생활에서 사용할 수 있는 펠트를 활용한 비누, 키링, 카드, 바늘꽂이 만들기 프로그램을 준비했다고 전했다.

기획전시 연계프로그램은 어린이를 대상으로 한 ‘심플! 펠트비누와 키링’, ‘가로수 펠트카드’, ‘장욱진 풍경 펠트비누’와 성인을 대상으로는 한 ‘장욱진 심플!바늘꽂이’ 등 총 4가지고, 교육은 양주시립장욱진미술관 강의실에서 매회 15명씩 90분간 진행하며, 참가비는 프로그램당 15,000원이라고 했다.
