오는 1월 13일부터 21일까지 민간위탁 운영기관 선정은 포천시보건소 지역보건 담당 부서에서 신청접수를 받고, 공공산후조리원 수탁기관 선정 심사위원회에서 이달 말이나 내달 초 수탁기관을 심사·결정하게 된다고 했다. 

선정된 수탁기관은 공공산후조리원 민간위탁 협약을 체결하게 되며, 간호사 등 운영 인력 확보 후 오는 4월 중 개원할 예정이고, 건물 내부에는 산모방 20실, 신생아실, 수유실, 휴게실 등이 마련됐으며, 침대, 좌욕기, 적외선 치료기, 베이비 카트, TV, 냉장고 등 산후조리와 건강 관리에 필요한 장비 등이 설치될 예정이라고 전했다. 

공공산후조리원 이용료는 조례에 따라 기본 2주에 168만 원이며, 1주당 84만 원을 가감해 징수되고, 국가유공자 가족, 기초생활수급자 또는 차상위 계층, 장애인, 다문화 가족의 산모 등은 해당 산후조리비용의 50%를 감면 받을 수 있다고 했다.
