[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시보건소는 포천시민을 대상으로 ‘치아를 오(5)랫동안 팔(8)팔하게’ 새 칫솔 데이 사업을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

칫솔의 사용기한은 약 3개월 정도로 보고 있으나, 칫솔질 습관에 따라 한 달에 한 번씩 교체해야 하며, 교체하지 않고 그냥 사용하게 되면 치아나 잇몸에 자극을 줘 구강건강에 손상을 입힐 수 있다고 했다.

5월, 8월, 11월 각 2일, 12일, 22일에 구강보건센터로 사전 예약 후 헌 칫솔을 가지고 방문하면 개인 구강건강상태에 맞춰 구강상담 및 구강건강관리 교육 후 친환경 대나무 칫솔로 교환해주고, 자세한 사항은 포천시 구강보건센터로 문의하면 된다고 전했다.

보건소 관계자는 “시민들이 바른 구강건강관리에 관심을 갖고 앞으로도 꾸준히 참여해주길 바란다.”고 말했다.
