[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 21일 동두천시립합창단이 동두천시 보영여자중학교에서 열린 ‘2021 BOYOUNG FESTIVAL’에 참여하여 자리를 빛냈다고 밝혔다. 

비대면 영상 촬영으로 진행된 본 행사는 실시간으로 각 학급에 송출되어 현장감을 높였고, 이날 시립합창단은 ‘시월에 어느 멋진 날에’, ‘우정의 노래’, ‘지금 이순간’, ‘푸니쿨리 푸니콜라’ 등 학생들의 눈높이에 맞춘 뮤지컬곡, 한국 가곡, 이태리 가곡 등 다양한 공연을 선보였다고 했다. 

시립합창단 관계자는 “관내 청소년들에게 동두천 시립합창단을 알리는 좋은 기회가 된 것 같다. 코로나19 장기화와 학업으로 지친 학생들에게 기쁨과 회복, 감동을 선사하는 공연이 됐기를 바란다”고 전했다.
