[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 19일 동두천시 생연2동 새마을부녀회는 저소득층 홀몸노인 24가구에 정성 가득한 밑반찬을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

회원들은 이틀 동안 이른 아침부터 모여 된장찌개, 미역줄기무침, 총각김치, 해파리 냉채를 정성껏 준비하여 홀몸 어르신들의 가정에 직접 전달하며 안부를 살폈다고 했다.

이인숙 생연2동 새마을부녀회장은 “갑자기 쌀쌀해진 가을에 입맛 없을 어르신들을 위해 직접 담근 총각김치를 준비했다. 맛있는 계절김치 드시고 기운 내셨으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.   

김일 생연2동장은 “매달 정성을 가득 담아 반찬을 준비해주셔서 항상 감사하다. 모두가 힘든 시기에 큰 힘이 될 것이다. 갑자기 쌀쌀해진 날씨에 모두 감기 조심하셨으면 좋겠다”라고 전했다.
