[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시는 ㈜그렉터가 (재)의정부시민장학회에 2021년도 장학금 1천만원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

지난 13일 교육문화국장실에서 가진 전달식은 교육문화국장을 비롯, 김영신 ㈜그렉터 대표이사, (재)의정부시민장학회 이상훈 이사장이 참석했다고 했다. 

㈜그렉터 대표이사는 “코로나19 장기화 등 어려운 여건 속에서도 학업에 매진하고 있는 학생들을 자랑스럽게 생각한다”며 “의정부시의 발전과 미래를 이끌 지역 학생들에게 희망으로 전해지길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

김근정 교육문화국장은 “지역 학생들을 위해 소중한 밑거름으로 사용되고 있는 장학기금을 기탁하신 ㈜그렉터에 진심으로 감사의 말씀을 드리며, 시민장학회에서는 투명하고 형평성 있는 장학금 지원으로 의정부시 미래 꿈나무들에게 도움이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다.
