[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 9월 15일부터 29일까지 (재)의정부시평생학습원은 ‘찾아가는 의정부학 특강’을 수강한 관내 초등학교 3학년을 대상으로 사생대회 공모전을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

제1회 의정부시 ‘서계 평생학습 산책’ 행사의 일환으로 운영되는 이번 공모전은 조선 후기 실학자인 서계 박세당 선생의 학문과 제자 양성의 마음을 기리고 지속 가능한 평생교육을 실천하고자 (재)의정부시평생학습원 주관으로 운영되는 첫 번째 사생대회로서 박세당 선생의 생애 및 업적, 고택 등을 주제로 진행된다고 했다.

코로나-19 확산을 고려하여 언텍트로 진행되는 이번 대회는 완성된 작품을 우편 및 방문으로 접수하고 전문가의 심사를 통해 우수 작품을 선발하여 제1회 의정부시‘서계 평생학습 산책’행사에서 시상및 전시회를 가질 예정이라고 했다. 

송원찬 평생학습원장은“이번 사생대회를 통해 관내 학생들이 삶의 터전인 의정부의 유적과 위인의 업적에 관심을 갖고 지역에 대한 애향심과 자부심이 향상되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
