[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 8월 26일 오전 10시 30분 캠코는 캠코양재타워(강남구 도곡동)에서 중소벤처기업진흥공단과 ｢중소기업 구조개선 지원 활성화를 위한 업무협약｣을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 두 기관이 기업 지원 프로그램을 상호 연계해 코로나19 등으로 어려움을 겪고 있는 중소기업의 재무구조 개선과 경영정상화를 지원하기 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

캠코는 이번 협약을 통해 자산매입 후 임대(S&LB) 프로그램* 지원 기업 중 추가 자금이 필요한 기업을 선정, 중진공에 추천해 구조개선 전용 정책자금**을 지원 받도록 돕는다고 전했다.

한편, 캠코는 중진공으로부터 정책자금을 지원받은 기업 중 자산 매각을 통한 재무구조 개선 및 유동성 확보가 필요한 기업을 공단으로부터 추천 받아 S&LB 프로그램을 지원할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

두 기관은 이번 협약으로 중소기업 지원을 위한 상호 협력체계를 구축하고, 양 기관이 지원하는 중소기업 지원 프로그램을 보완함으로써 중소기업 구조 개선과 경영정상화 지원의 정책적 효과를 높여갈 계획이라고 했다.

문성유 캠코 사장은 “이번 협약이 어려움을 겪고 있는 중소기업에 힘이 되어, 위기극복과 재도약으로 이어지길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 캠코는 중소기업 지원 프로그램이 상승(相乘)효과를 낼 수 있도록 정책기관과의 협력을 확대해 가겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 캠코는 지난 2015년부터 중소․중견기업 S&LB을 통해 52개 기업에 6,686억원의 유동성을 공급해 4천 7백여 명의 고용유지를 돕고 있으며, ‘기업자산 매각지원 프로그램’ 등 다양한 기업지원 프로그램을 통해 기업의 코로나19 극복 지원에 앞장서고 있다고 전했다.
