[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부] 28일 GH는 건설공사 설계과정에서 설계VE 제도를 통해 건설사업의 가치를 향상한 우수 사례를 모아 사례집을 발간했다고 밝혔다.

설계VE(Value Engineering)는 건설공사의 설계내용에 대한 경제성 및 현장 적용의 타당성을 기능별, 대안별로 검토하여 가치를 향상시키는 기법을 말한다고 했다.

이번에 발간한 사례집은 2019년 이후 설계VE를 개선운영하여 얻어진 우수한 성과들을 모은 것으로, 성능향상 및 원가절감(총 128억원) 우수사례 46건과 제도 운영절차 등을 담았다고 했다.

발굴한 우수한 사례들은 전 사업지구에 공통적으로 적용될 수 있도록 내부지침과 관리시스템에 반영했다고 전했다.

한편, GH는 개별 사업지구마다 운영하던 설계VE 제도를 2019년부터 전담조직을 통해 총괄운영하고 있으며, 또한 설계 과정에서 분야별 전문가의 제안을 반영해 개선된 공법을 적용함으로써 고품질·저비용의 설계를 실현하고 있다고 했다.

이헌욱 GH 사장은 “설계VE 제도를 기본주택 등 다양한 건설분야에 적용할 예정이다.”라며 “앞으로도 GH는 고품질과 경제성을 동시에 확보하는 설계가 이뤄질 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
