[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 12일 동두천시는 친환경 해충방제 전문업체인 ㈜이레P&R과 연계·협력하여, 취약계층 가정을 위한 해충방제서비스 자원봉사활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 서비스는 주거여건이 취약한 드림스타트 대상 가정 중 생활환경 조사와 사례회의를 통해 18가정을 우선적으로 선정하고, 주거환경 개선 및 가족의 건강한 생활 증진을 위해 해충방제서비스를 지원했다고 말했다.

서비스 혜택을 받은 대상 가구는 만족도가 매우 높았으며, 서비스 진행 후에도 대상가정에 청결 유지를 위한 주거위생 교육 등 지속적인 모니터링을 실시할 예정이라고 했다.

사회복지과 아동복지팀장은 “2015년부터 드림스타트와 업무협약을 체결한 이후, 매년 자원봉사활동을 진행하고 있는 ㈜이레P&R에 감사의 말씀을 드리며, 앞으로도 취약계층 가정을 위한 다양한 봉사활동이 지속될 수 있도록 적극 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
