[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 도시재생플러스사업으로 진행된 탄탄집수리지원단 수료생들이 모여 협동조합 '탄탄한사람들’을 창립했다고 전했다.

도시재생플러스사업은 강원랜드 폐광지역 도시재생 활성화 기부금 사업으로 지난 2020년부터 ‘스스로 고치는 우리 마을’이라는 콘셉트로 지역주민들의 집수리 역량강화 및 일자리 창출을 위해 다양한 이론과 실습 교육을 진행해 왔다.

탄탄집수리지원단은 향후 ‘협동조합 탄탄한사람들’을 통해 관내 취약 주거지 발굴 또는 노후 건축물을 선정하여 집수리사업을 추진할 예정이며 집수리지원단 거점공간 활성화를 위한 교육 프로그램도 계획 중이다. 

박지혜 협동조합 탄탄한사람들 이사장은 “여러 사람들이 모여 장점과 능력을 발휘하여, 힘을 모으면 그 힘은 상상 이상이 되고, 기적과 같은 결과를 만들어 내기도 한다”라며, “태백시에 다양한 주거환경 개선을 위해 새롭게 시작하는 탄탄한 사람들의 성공적인 정착을 위해 많은 관심과 사랑 부탁드린다”라고 밝혔다.
