[김현우 기자 = 양주] 양주시는 지난 26일 양주시 사회적경제제품 구매촉진 및 판로지원에 관한 조례를 제정·공포하고 본격 시행에 들어간다고 밝혔다.

경기도 내 8번째로 제정된 이번 판로지원 조례는 구매계획의 수립·공고, 구매실적서 작성, 공공기관의 우선구매, 우선구매대상자 선정 기준 및 예외 규정, 정보제공·판로지원·판매활성화 등에 관한 사항을 규정하고 있다.

세부적으로는 공공기관이 물품·공사·서비스 등을 구매하는 경우 일정 부분을 사회적경제기업 제품의 우선구매를 촉진하도록 하는 내용이 담겨 있다.

양주시는 조례에 따라 사회적경제제품 구매계획과 구매실적, 공공기관의 총구매액에 대한 사회적경제제품 구매액 비율 등을 시 홈페이지 등에 공고해야 한다.

양주시는 이번 조례 시행으로 사회적 가치를 추구하는 기업들이 자생력을 갖추고 지속적으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원해 나간다는 방침이다.

양주시 관계자는 “관내 사회적기업의 자립과 발전을 도와 사회적경제 활성화를 통한 지역 발전, 사회적 가치 창출 등 다양한 긍정적 효과를 가져올 것”이라고 말했다.
