[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선군농업기술센터에서 농업인의 창업기회 제공은 물론 농산물 가공산업 활성화에 기여하기 위해 운영하고 있는 정선군 농산물종합가공센터가 올해 년말 기준 누적매출액 100억원을 돌파했다.

지난 2014년 4월 준공하여 2015년부터 본격 운영하고 있는 정선군 농산물가공센터는 공장동 773.75㎡의 면적에 총 56종 62대의 가공장비를 갖추고 있으며, 농업인들이 창업을 희망할 경우 상담과 1:1 맞춤형 교육을 통해 누구나 쉽게 인·허가를 받아 창업할 수 있도록 함으로써 현재 52개 업체, 172농가가 입주하여 창업활동을 하고 있다. 

또한 농업인 참여형 제품개발을 통해 소비자 니즈에 맞춘 다양한 제품을 개발하여 음료류, 나물편이 식품, 잼, 차, 환, 분말, 캔디류 등 97종을 출시했으며, 전문인력이 지원하는 제품생산, 자가품질검사 등의 검사료 지원, 상표나 특허출원 시 명세서 작성지원을 통해 생산비용을 절감하고 있다.

특히 대형매장 입점 추천, 박람회 참가 지원, 도심권 직거래장터 운영, 각종 인증 지원, 정담은몰 운영, 타부처 지원사업 안내 등을 통해 판로개척과 홍보에 주력한 결과 올해 년말 기준 누적매출액 100억원을 돌파하는 성과를 거두었다.

최유순 농업기술센터소장은 내년 하반기부터 운영에 들어갈 상품개발실 활용하여 별도의 비용부담 없이 상품홍보를 위한 사진 및 동영상 촬영, 농업인이 직접 운영하는 라이브커머스, 출시제품에 대한 소비자 평가단 운영 등의 사업을 추진할 계획이라며, 앞으로 다양한 온․오프라인 마케팅을 통해 농가소득을 증대하는데 최선의 노력을 다하겠다고 밝혔다.
