[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 오는 23일까지 음식물류 폐기물 다량 배출사업장을 대상으로 지도·점검을 실시하고 경미한 위반사항에 대해서는 현장 시정조치하고 중대한 위반사항에 대해서는 과태료 부과 등 행정처분 할 방침이라고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 음식물 다량 배출사업장의 의무사항 준수 여부와 관리실태 확인을 위해 추진된다.

대상 사업장은 규모 영업장 면적 200㎡ 이상 일반음식점 24곳, 100인 이상 집단급식소 19곳 등 총 48곳이다.

태백시 관계자는 “음식물류 폐기물 다량배출사업장에 대한 지속적인 점검으로 재활용 촉진과 폐기물 감량을 유도할 계획이다”며 “음식물류 폐기물의 올바른 배출문화 정착에 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.
