[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 태백시(시장 이상호)는 저소득층 유·청소년 및 장애인의 스포츠활동 참여기회 확대와 건강증진을 위해 ‘2023년 유·청소년 및 장애인 스포츠강좌이용권’ 신청을 접수 받는다고 밝혔다.

국민기초생활보장법에 따른 생계·의료·주거·교육급여 수급 가구 및 차상위 계층의 만 5세∼18세(2005년 1월 1일∼2018년 12월 31일 출생) 유·청소년 지원이며 장애인 스포츠강좌이용권은 만 19세에서 64세 장애인(출생연도 1959∼2004년생)이다.

1인당 지원한도는 9만5,000원(복수강좌)이며 내년 12개월 기간 동안  온·오프라인 스포츠강좌 수강료를 지원받게 된다.

신청기한은 저소득층 유·청소년은 오는 8일부터 22일까지이며, 장애인 스포츠강좌이용권은 24일까지로 지원 대상자 별로 신청기한이 상이하다.

시 관계자는 “내년에는 지원액과 지원 기간을 확대한다”라며 “장애인들의 체력향상과 건강 증진을 도모하기 위해 추진되는 사업인 만큼 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

신청은 관할 동 주민센터로 방문 접수하면 된다.
