[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 이상호 태백시장은 3일 오전 11시 춘천시 석사동에 위치한 분만취약지 응급산모를 위한 안심스테이 ‘품안애’ 입주식에 참석했다고 밝혔다. 

이번에 개소한 안심스테이 ‘품안애’는 LH가 전국 최초로 강원도내 분만 취약지역에 공급한 산모 맞춤형 주택으로 인제, 양구, 철원 등 분만병원이 없는 도내 취약 지역에 거주하는 산모들이 출산 전 3주, 출산 후 3일까지 병원 인근에서 머물 수 있는 시설이다.

이상호 태백시장은 “임신과 출산에 어려움을 겪고 있는 우리 지역의 고위험, 응급 산모들이 안전한 환경에서 안심하고 출산을 준비할 수 있도록 원주권 안심스테이 추진에 적극 협조할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
