[서종협 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 15일 한동구 태백시 부시장은 주요 공공투자사업 추진 상황 보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

시청 소회실에서 개최된 이날 보고회에서는 주요 공공투자사업 146건(총예산 1,493억원)을 공사, 용역 등으로 구분해 부서별 추진 상황을 세밀히 검토하며 추진상의 주요 문제점에 대해 논의하고 해결방안을 모색했으며 대규모 사업 발굴을 위한 기본구상 용역 예산 적극활용, 대규모 건설공사 토지 보상업무 적극 대응, 취약 계층 시설 보수 공사와 급경사지 위험 정비 공사, 제설 준비 등 시민과 밀접한 사업에 대해 집중 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.

한동구 태백시 부시장은 “어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 주민들이 공공투자사업의 효과를 체감할 수 있도록 지연사업에 대한 조속한 추진과 부서장 중심으로 직원들의 적극적인 업무 자세, 한정된 예산의 효율적인 집행을 위해 부서별 장기적 플랜 구상”을 주문했다.

또한 “동절기가 임박함에 따라 주요 사업장의 품질 확보에 최선을 다하고 안전사고 예방과 현장 점검에 더욱 신경쓸 것”을 당부했다.

태백시 관계자는 “주요 사업장에 대한 지휘부의 관심과 부서장들의 적극적인 사업 추진으로 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 가시적 성과가 나타날 수 있도록 만전을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
