[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시는 지난 26일 연천 백학자유로리조트에서 양주시 사회적경제기업 대표와 관계자 등 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2022년 양주시 사회적경제 네트워크 워크숍’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 워크숍은 사회적경제의 지속적인 발전방안을 논의하고 민·관 협업체계 구축 및 사회적경제조직 간 소통 활성화를 위해 마련됐다.

워크숍에서 기업 소개와 사업현황을 공유하며 교류하는 시간과 연천지역의 사회적경제현황 및 사례교육, 연천군 투어 탐방교육 등이 이뤄졌다.

특히 사례교육은 ‘연척지역 사회적경제 현황과 사례’를 주제로 박용석 연천군사회적경제협의회장이 사회적경제기업을 운영하며 직접 겪었던 현장 경험을 토대로 협업과 상생을 위한 실질적인 대안과 비전을 제시해 참여자들의 많은 공감을 받았다.

또한 사회적협동조합‘사람과 세상’ 주태규 이사장이 경기도 사회적경제 정책 방향과 우수사례 등에 대해 공유하고 참여자들은 양주시 사회적경제기업 간 현장의 고충에 대해 자유롭게 대화하며 지역 네트워크 강화의 필요성과 업무 협업을 위한 개선 방안을 논의했다.

양주시 관계자는 “이번 워크숍에서 나온 의견들은 내년 시책에 반영할 수 있도록 적극 검토할 것이며 앞으로도 사회적경제기업과의 꾸준한 소통으로 사회적경제의 지속적인 성장 환경을 조성하는데 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
