[김일웅 기자= 경기북부/강원] 5월 3일, 경선결과에 의문을 가진 배영식 예비후보가 경선결과에 불복한다며 재심신청서를 더불어 민주당 경기도당 공직선거 후보자 추천 재심위원회에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

가평군, 더불어 민주당 전·후반 의장을 지낸 송기욱, 배영식 예비후보가 군수후보와 기초의원 출마를 했으나 공천심사에서 고배를 마셨다. 이에 두 전·후반기 의장을 지낸 송기욱과 배영식 예비후보는 이의를 제기하며 공심위원에 불만을 표한 것으로 확인됐다.

배영식 예비후보는 “2017년 9월 14일 부터 더불어 민주당 당원으로 입당하여 제7회 전국동시지방선거에서 가평군 다선거구(상면,조종면)에 공천을 받아 가평군 역사이래 최초로 더불어민주당의 기초의원이 되어 그 업무에 열과 성으로 임하여 하반기에는 가평군의회 의장이 되는 영광도 얻었습니다.”라고 자신의 공적을 표출했다.
