[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 14일 동해시의회는 동해시의회 의원연구단체인『동해항 항만지역 등 대기질 개선 연구회』가 소회의실에서 제1차 회의를 개최하여 차후 활동 계획 건에 대하여 의결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 연구단체 회의에는 김기하 대표의원을 비롯한 연구단체 소속 박남순 의원·임응택 의원과 박상형 동해시 환경과장, 황복순 동해시 환경과 환경정책팀장이 참석했으며, 동해시 대기질 개선 연구의 필요성에 대한 공감대 형성과 차후 설운골 쌍용 세륜시설 방문과 관련한 내용에 대한 논의를 진행했다고 했다.

김기하 대표의원은“본 연구모임의 성과를 달성하기 위해 향후 계획된 간담회 및 토론회, 현장방문 등을 내실 있게 추진함으로써 시민이 건강하고 행복하여 살기 좋은 쾌적한 동해시 조성에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
