[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 21일 환경부 원주지방환경청은 강원도 및 충청북도 일원의 미세먼지 저감 등 대기질 개선사업에 국고보조금 536억 원을 지원한다고 밝혔다.

올해 예산은 작년(485억 원) 대비 51억이 증액됐으며, 강원도에 411억 원, 충청북도에 125억 원이 지원된다고 전했다.

주요 대기질 개선사업은 운행차 배출가스 저감 사업, 소규모 방지시설 설치, 가정용 저녹스 보일러 설치지원사업, 어린이 통학차량 LPG차 전환지원 사업 등이라고 했다.

각 지원사업 신청자에게는 자체 소요 비용의 25~60% 수준에서 예산이 지원되며, 지원 가능 여부와 접수 절차 등 세부적인 사항은 거주지역 시·군의 환경 관련 부서에 문의하면 된다고 했다.

이창흠 청장은 “미세먼지 저감 등 대기질 개선을 위한 정부의 노력에 지역 주민의 적극적인 관심과 참여를 당부드린다”고 밝혔다.
