[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 16일 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 아시아-태평양 지역 재정관리협력체(PEMNA) 및 국제통화기금, 세계은행 등 국제기구 예산 관계자를 대상으로 ｢국유재산 효율적 관리․처분｣에 대한 온라인 강연을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

 * PEMNA(Public Expenditure Management Network in Asia) : 아시아-태평양 국가 간 재정 제도ㆍ정책 공유 및 협력을 목적으로 설립된 협력체

이번 강연은 기획재정부 주관의 ‘2022년도 PEMNA 국고회계분과 세미나’ 프로그램 중 하나로, 캠코는 국내 국유 일반재산 관리 전문기관으로서 그간의 업무 성과와 노하우를 인정받아 세미나 발제기관으로 특별초청을 받았다고 했다. 

캠코는 강연에서 그동안 축적한 국유재산 법령 및 지침, 국유재산 관리 노하우와 사례 등을 공유함으로써, PEMNA 회원국과 국제기구 관계자들의 自國 국유재산 관리에 대한 효율적 의사결정에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다고 전했다.

권남주 캠코 사장은 “이번 강연은 캠코가 지닌 우수한 국유재산관리 역량을 세계 각국에 전파하는 좋은 계기가 될 것”이라며, “캠코는 앞으로도 활발한 교류․협력을 통해 국내 유일의 국유재산관리 전담기관으로서 축적한 지식과 노하우를 적극 공유하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 캠코는 기획재정부로부터 국유 일반재산 관리ㆍ처분 업무를 위탁받아 전국 약 72만 필지를 전담관리하고 있으며, 2019년에는 국유재산․공공개발 연구 전담조직을 신설해 국유재산의 적극적 개발․활용 방안을 모색하고 있다고 전했다.
