[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 11월 21일까지 양주시는 시청 3층 감동갤러리에서 양주시립회암사지박물관 교육프로그램 전시 ‘박물관에서 놀자’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 전시는 2012년 박물관 개관 후 현재까지 지속적으로 개발·운영된 자체 교육프로그램의 교구재, 체험키트, 결과물 등을 일러스트 포맥스, 디지털액자, 태블릿으로 연출해 시민들에게 소개하고 공유하고자 마련했다고 전했다.

갤러리에는 양주 회암사지 사립탑과 박물관 캐릭터를 활용한 포토존을 비롯해 박물관 전시, 유적과 연계된 교육프로그램과 코로나19 시대에 맞춰 개발된 비대면 교육프로그램 등 각 과정을 대표하는 주요 프로그램을 둘러볼 수 있는 공간을 조성했고, 또한 박물관에서 자체 개발한 교구재 등을 체험해 볼 수 있는 미니 문화체험실을 운영하며 경기도, 문화재청 등 외부기관과 협력해 진행한 지역문화예술 플랫폼사업을 비롯해 동아리별 제작 작품까지 박물관에서 체험할 수 있는 다양한 교육 프로그램을 선보인다고 했다.

현장 전시안내 운영 시간은 매주 화요일과 목요일 오후 1시부터 2시까지이며, 방문객 누구나 무료로 관람할 수 있으며, 전시와 관련해 기타 자세한 사항은 양주시립회암사지박물관으로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다고 전했다.

양주시 관계자는 “양주시립회암사지박물관 개관 이후 10여년간 진행해 온 박물관 교육프로그램의 현황과 세부 활동 사항을 시민들이 들여다볼 수 있도록 전시회를 기획했다”며 “이번 전시를 통해 박물관, 유적지는 지루하다는 인식이 바뀌고 놀이터처럼 즐길 수 있는 문화 공간임을 깨달을 수 있는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
