[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시가 오는 12월 개소 예정인 학대피해아동쉼터(남아전용)를 운영할 위탁법인을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

학대피해아동쉼터는 공동생활가정 중 하나로 학대피해아동의 보호․치료 및 숙식을 제공해 피해아동의 신체․정서적 회복을 돕는 역할을 하는 비공개 시설이라고 했다.

의정부시는 전용면적 120.76㎡(설치기준 100㎡) 규모의 공동주택을 매입해 실내 인테리어 리모델링 공사를 하고 있으며, 12월 개소를 앞두고 쉼터를 운영할 위탁법인을 모집하고 있다고 했다. 

신청 자격은 공고일 현재 서울․경기․인천 등 수도권에 주사무소를 둔 사회복지법인 또는 비영리법인으로서 정관 목적사업에 아동복지시설 운영 등이 명시된 법인이면 가능하다고 했다.

이번 모집 공고는 학대피해아동쉼터 운영법인 모집을 재공고하는 사항으로, 지난 27일부터 오는 11월 2일까지 7일간 공고하며, 접수기간은 오는 11월 1일부터 2일까지 2일간으로 방문을 통해 신청 접수할 수 있고, 자세한 공고 내용은 의정부시 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있으며 여성가족과 아동보호팀으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.

안병용 의정부시장은 “즉각분리제도 시행으로 보호가 필요한 아동이 증가함에 따라 학대피해아동쉼터의 역할이 중요해지고 있다.”며 “의정부시와 파트너가 되어 남아전용 학대피해아동쉼터를 위탁 운영할 전문적 능력을 갖춘 법인의 많은 관심을 부탁드린다.”고 당부했다.
