[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 26일 의정부시의회는 3층 의원회의실에서 시의원 및 직원을 대상으로 ‘유쾌한 청탁금지법&행동강령, 공직선거법’ 교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 교육은 청탁금지법 제19조에 따른 법정 의무교육으로 공직사회 내 부정부패를 척결하고 청렴한 조직문화 조성을 위해 마련됐으며, 코로나-19 확산 방지를 위해 교육장에는 좌석 간 칸막이가 설치되고 발열 체크, 마스크 착용 등 방역 수칙을 준수한 가운데 진행됐다고 했다.

교육 강의를 맡은 어울림교육개발원 배정애 강사는 청탁금지법 주요개정사항, 부패방지 시책, 청렴도 제고 방법, 공직자 행동강령 등을 사례 중심으로 알기 쉽게 설명했다고 전했다.

오범구 의장은 “청렴은 공직자로서 갖추어야 기본 덕목으로 이번 교육을 통해 청렴 의식을 함양하여 시민에게 신뢰받는 의회로 거듭나도록 최선을 다하겠다” 고 말했다.
