[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 14일 의정부시의회는 제308회 임시회를 개최하여 ‘의정부 도시관리계획 결정(변경)안’에 대한 의견서를 채택했다고 밝혔다.

이번 임시회는 「국토의 계획 및 이용에 관한 법률」 제28조에 따라 신곡근린공원을 의정부시민의 여가활동 및 레저활동 수요 충족을 위해 공원시설의 용도를 근린공원에서 체육공원으로 변경하기 위한 “의정부 도시관리계획 결정(변경)안”에 대하여 의정부시의회의 의견 제시를 위해 원포인트로 진행됐다고 했다. 

오범구 의장은 “시민이 원하는 바를 충분히 반영하여 시민의 건강과 여가활동 증진에 기여하고 시민에게 사랑받는 성공적인 공원이 조성되길 당부드리며, 다가오는 민족 최대 명절 추석 연휴 동안 코로나19 방역을 준수하며 즐거운 한가위를 보내시길 바란다”고 말했다.
