상인과 교육강사가 서로 대화 및 게임방식을 통해 소통하는 방식으로 교육의 참여율과 집중도가 높였고, 최근 코로나19 확산으로 인한 집합교육이 어려운 상황에 맞추어 생연동 일원의 전통시장 및 상점가의 점포들을 대상으로 전문 교육강사가 직접 점포를 방문하여 위생 및 청결, 고객신뢰, 상인조직 역량강화, 안전관리와 같은  다채로운 주제로 상인들 눈높이에 맞추어 재미있게 교육을 진행하였다고 했다.

동두천시 상권진흥센터의 김도형 센터장은“코로나19로 침체되어 있는 전통시장 및 상점가에 이번 교육을 통해 상인분들께서 많이 호응해 주시고 잠시나마 웃음을 드릴 수 있게 되어 기쁘다”며 “나아가 이번 교육을 통해 시장의 경쟁력을 확보하는 데에 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
