[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 8월 30일 재단법인 포천문화재단은 제2회 이사회를 개최하고 2021년 하반기 자체사업 계획안을 확정 의결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 포천문화재단의 자체사업은 재단 출범에 따라 포천시의 문화진흥을 위한 정책 및 사업을 개발·추진하는 데 목적이 있으며, 총 사업비 6억9천만원으로 문화예술 공모지원사업, 지역문화 거버넌스 구축을 위한 간담회, 문화 콘텐츠 개발 포럼, 재단 출범 축하 기획프로그램 등이 있다고 했다. 

먼저, 지역 예술인을 위한 공모지원사업 <포천에 도착한 당신의 예술(포·도·당)>이 지난 1일부터 접수를 시작했으며, 개인예술가 40인, 예술단체 25팀, 문화거점 5개소에 대한 지원을 통해 지역예술인들의 창작활동 기반마련과 활동을 촉진하고, 자생적인 문화생태계를 조성한다는 방침이라고 했다.

시민예술교육 연계전시<포천이 행복한 사람들>과 특별기획전시<반쪽이의 상상력 박물관전>으로 부족했던 전시 콘텐츠를 확대할 예정이며, 가족뮤지컬 <목짧은 기린 지피>와 야외무대에서 펼쳐지는 클래식 힙합 크로스오버 공연<힙시클>, 세대와 장르를 아우르는 <드라마틱 클래식>, 남북문화예술교류<남북 우리춤 한마당>이 11월까지 예정되어 있고, 12월에는 서울발레단의 <호두까기인형>과 <제야음악회>로 2021년을 마무리할 계획이라고 했다. 

재단 관계자는 “다양한 문화예술 사업의 기획·운영을 통해 포천시 문화예술의 발전을 도모하고, 포천시의 모든 구성원들이 함께 참여하여 예술에 대해 공감할 수 있는 계기를 마련해 나가겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
