이날 행사에는 정진호 조합장과 이철현 지부장이 참석해 농협중앙회장 명의 감사패를 전달하고 농업발전에 헌신하며 농협역사와 함께해 온 노고에 감사드리는 뜻깊은 기간을 가졌으며, 정돈호 조합원은 1970년 동두천농협 조합원으로 가입한 뒤 현재까지 동두천농협과 동고동락하며 농협 발전에 이바지해 오고 있다고 했다.

정진호 조합장은 “지난 60년간 농협과 동두천농협이 발전해 올 수 있었던 것은 변함 없이 함께 해주신 조합원님들이 있었기에 가능했다”며,  “앞으로도 건강히 농협의 버팀목이 되어 주시길 기원한다”고 말했다.
