[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 5일 동두천시는 시청 대회의실에서 5급 이상 고위공직자 40여명을 대상으로 성희롱·성폭력 예방교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 교육은 기관장, 고위직 대상으로 한 성희롱‧성폭력‧가정폭력‧성매매 통합 폭력예방 1차 교육으로, 소규모 대면교육 원칙을 강조한 올해 여성가족부의 개정된 지침에 맞춰 추진됐다고 했다.  

한국양성평등교육진흥원 우경희 전문강사의 진행으로 2시간 동안 실시됐으며 회식‧면접 때 발생하는 다양한 사례를 제시하고 고위직이 상황에 맞게 대처하는 방법을 역할극으로 배워가며 성인지 감수성을 높이는 한편, 2차 피해 예방을 위한 조직의 관리자 책임, 폭력 근절을 위한 실천방안 등을 강조했다고 말했다. 

최용덕 동두천시장은 “지속적인 예방교육으로 고위직의 라떼 문화를 종식하고 성 역할의 고정적 사고에서 벗어나, 활력 있고 건전한 직장문화가 정착되기를 기대하며, 조직 내 양성평등 문화가 조기 정착할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
